Registration

  1. Membership is restricted to the people of the organisation only.

  2. Membership registration of people outside of the organisation will be held null and void.

  3. During the registration process you will be asked for your email address. Your password and all notifications from us will come to you by email.

  4. Membership is not transferable.

  5. All persons or bodies are entitled to one membership only.

  6. The Library membership will be valid till the member leaves the organisation.

 

Membership

  1. Members are not allowed to sub-lend the books of the library.

  2. Members who return books later than the due date might be liable to pay a fine as decided by the Library authorities from time to time.

  3. Any infringement of the rules will deprive the member of the privilege of admission to and of borrowing books from the Library.

  4. Each member is entitled to borrow a maximum number of books at a time as decided by the Library authorities from time to time. Please refer to FAQ section or contact the Library

  5. Library reserves the right to call back any issued book/item at any time.

  6. All books must be returned before leaving the organisation.

 

Library Books/Items Usage

  1. Before leaving the counter, the member should ensure that the book/item lent is in sound condition, if not, it should be immediately brought to the notice of the Librarian. Otherwise the borrower would be liable for any loss/damage and required to replace it with a sound/fresh copy.

  2. All books and items must be handled carefully and with honour.

  3. It is prohibited to underline/mark, deface, mutilate, write notes or pull out pages from books/items.

  4. Loss or damage of books/items, if any, should be reported to the librarian immediately and it should be replaced with a new copy.

  5. Members may be charged for non-returned books/items.
